Our\u00a0<strong>Meteoceanics Doctoral School\u00a0<\/strong>provides structural contributions to Higher and Continuing Education, from doctoral programs to the organization of scientific meetings, conferences, seminar series, short courses and workshops. Moreover, our institution is actively involved in the scientific mentoring of external doctoral students across our collaboration network.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comprehensive curricula have been designed by Prof. Perdig\u00e3o since the inception of the inter university chair and doctoral school to bring cutting-edge science to an informed audience with background in natural sciences and engineering. His course offerings include<span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Fluid Dynamical Systems, Fractional Differential Geometry, Mathematical Physics and Modelling, Information Physics, Nonlinear Thermodynamics, Complexity and Predictability, Nonlinear Analytics and Machine Learning, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Dynamic Meteorology and Oceanography, Atmospheric Physics, Hydro-Climate Dynamics, Earth System Dynamics, Complex System Dynamics,\u00a0Interdisciplinary Data Analytics and Model Design, among others<\/i><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The full updated list is found\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/fluiddynamicalsystems.com\/chair-disciplines\/\">here<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">.\u00a0<\/span>The currently ongoing courses are found at our\u00a0Moodle\u00a0course management platform\u00a0<a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/meteoceanics.pt\/moodle\">here<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>With the arrival of Dr. Hall, the school further hosts her courses including\u00a0<em>Agro-Ecology<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Climate Change Adaptation &amp; Mitigation<\/em>, <em>Earth Surface Processes<\/em>, <em>Engineering Hydrology<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Environmental Hydrology<\/em>, <em>Fluvial Geomorphology<\/em>, <em>Frontiers in\u00a0Geoecology<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Geographical Information Systems<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Geostatistics,\u00a0<\/em><em>Hydroanalytics<\/em>, <em>Physical Geography<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Water Resources Management.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>These university course offerings are further complemented by our summer schools, training workshops and advanced courses, hosted in-house or at partner institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to reach out to the broader public of all ages and backgrounds, we also organize scientific fairs, excursions, school visits and other outreach activities.
